A day in my mind:
- Wake up: Why am I up before the sun has risen? Oh yeah, we have oatmeal.
- After breakfast: Fuck. School. Can't wait until I can eat my snack.
- Gets to school: Why is the day so long?
- After snack: Only a few hours until lunch.
- In school: I fucking hate everyone.
- During lunch: This isn't too bad...
- After lunch: I am such a fucking failure. I hate myself. I hate my fat. I wish I could be skinny. I hate eating.
- School ends: Praise the lord. *tumblr-tumblr-tumblr*
- Before snack: No. No. No. Recovery is so much better. I need to eat to live.
- After snack: You. fat. failure.
- Before dinner: So-fucking-hungry.
- After dinner: So full. I don't think I can ever eat again. Why do I do this?
- Shower: Ewwww. This is not my body.
- During night time snack: YAYYYY RECOVERY IS AMAZING!! CLIF BARS!! WOOT!!
- After: Fucking hell. I'm a fat mess. At least I get to sleep now.

Dear Michelle,
I can’t believe you were able to get trough all this. It seems impossible right now. The urges are to strong, it’s so hard to overcome them. I also hate telling my parents things; I hope it helps me. Are those scars still there? I hope yet stay, because they’re part of me now. I have so many questions, I could go on forever. I would just like to congratulate you on beating this monster called self harm.

This is my best friend Shannon. She’s in the hospital right now. She tried to kill herself last night but her mom found her. She was about to hang herself from her favorite tree in her backyard. But, her mom went looking for her and found her just as she was about to jump. She rushed her to the hospital. I got a call from her screaming and crying and speaking inaudible words. She told me that I was the only reasoning she’s been staying alive so long. I almost lost my best friend yesterday. She was inches from death. And look how beautiful she is. Please reblog this to show Shannon that everyone loves and cares about her. I usually wouldn’t do this, but I really don’t want to lose my best friend. She’s my favorite person in the world. And I have no idea who or where I’d be without her.

Day #16: What advice would you give someone about self harm?
Well, if they just started, I’d tell them to stop. They can’t see the long term effects of all this; therapy, tears, scars, anxiety. If they’ve been doing it for awhile though, I’d tell them they should really try to stop. I’d tell them about how free you feel when you don’t have to hide your scars and cuts, how happy your family becomes when they help you through it. It may seem impossible at first, but you can do it. You’re stronger than the monster called self harm.
